A native of Fort Leonardwood, Missouri, Becky has spent almost her entire life around horses. As a self-proclaimed Army brat, she grew up riding with the Fiddlers Green Pony Club in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, graduating as a B-Level Pony Clubber. She credits her fearless riding style to her days as a member of the Fort Leavenworth Hunt where she served as whipper-in for 11 years. |
Throughout her more than 20 years training and competing horses, Becky has won numerous competitions, and area and national awards. None was more gratifying than when she and her equine partner, Highland Hogan, were chosen as the U.S. Eventing Team's alternates for the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, Australia. Becky has trained with some of the best coaches, working extensively with Capt. Mark Phillips, and David and Karen O'Connor.
